Key Areas of Responsibilities
Program Design:
- Develop programmatic strategic plan for the organization. Create and develop program content curriculum and all program related training activities
- Lead, strategize and manage the entire program vertical and its activities
- Should be able to suggest, design, develop program content, curriculum for sustainability and program growth
- Remain up-to-date on all sector developments and government policies and recommend best practices.
- Analyze trends in the program, identify issues, pilot test and recommend solutions
- Develop high quality concept notes and project reports to be shared with senior management
- Manage complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth
Internal Control Mechanisms:
- Conduct regular program quality monitoring and assessment of all program training and processes
- Enhance efficiency & effectiveness of the program projects throughout India including various offices, head office and field
Team Management:
- Lead, motivate and support the program team in creating work plans, meeting deadlines and conducting regular reviews/check-ins for the vertical
- Provide technical inputs to project team on improvement of academic and co-curricular activities in line with approved program guidelines
- Ensure high quality standards for all documents
- Lead the standardization of processes, curriculum, OD support as need be
- Submit program and training quality reports, dashboards and manage performance of program team.
Senior Leadership:
- To be a part of the senior management team working alongside with the senior management helping with the organizations overall strategy and growth
- Work closely with Executive Director and apprise her of the programmatic aspects of key proposals and projects
- Represent the organization in various forums as and when designated by the organization
- Reporting to senior management, the board on program statistics and other external stakeholders as need be
Education & Other Required Qualifications/Experience/Skills for the Job
- Post graduate degree in social sciences, development studies, business management or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 12-15 years - experience in management with demonstrated expertise in program management, implementation, strategic thinking and team management;
- Expert in program strategy, design & quality
- Experience in designing programs, developing content material and prior experience of working in community
- Strong communication skills, content and verbal
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work with people from varied backgrounds and levels
- Sensitive to issues of gender equality
- Community mobilisation / Education experience preferred
