Job Summary :


- The Director Programs directs, coordinates and manages all program operations in concurrence with the business plan, program policies and procedures as approved by the Board. Responsibilities include creating and monitoring annual plans, accruing new clients, attending existing clients, monitoring the programs, portfolio, productivity and efficiency targets, building staff capacity, and ensuring sustainable social and financial performance of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assist CEO, Finance head in preparing the business plan;

- Prepare the annual work plans for all the programs

- Monitor and supervise implementation of approved annual plan;

- Provide trainings and technical support to the program team to ensure that client outreach and financial goals are met

- Assure overall supervision and management of office and field operations. Evaluate performance at the end of the year based on the attainment of committed goals and targets.

- Conduct field visit/verification/meetings with program personnel and clients as part of the regular supervision to get first-hand information from them and to be able to provide appropriate feedback and recommendation to improve performance

- Develop and implement strategic interventions including mentoring and training to help program teams performance and achievements

- Conduct/direct business analysis and undertake market testing to determine new products and service areas that may be explored

- Assist in public relations and image building for the organization as a socially responsible business entity that provides essential services to the low income households through partner institutions

- Manage donor relations and fund mobilization along with the CEO

Candidate Requirements :

- Should have the passion and commitment to work with the poor households

- Should have worked in the development sector in the areas of micro-finance, gender, sanitation, agriculture finance, capacity building, etc

- Willing to travel extensively across India

- Experience of handling a team and team player

- Should have good planning and organizational skills

- Languages - Good communication (oral and written) in English is a must. Knowing one or two regional language will be an added advantage
