Position Title : Director - Products
Experience : 10+ years

Key Responsibilities :
Strategic :
- Accountable for the Quarter-On-Quarter P&L for the product unit and aggressive growth.
- Identify opportunities and risks within the Music vertical including identification of competitive products, opportunities for innovation and assessment of market obstacles and technical hurdles to the product group's success.
- Identify trends in mobility and digital domain and study evolving consumer behavior that may support or impede the success of the product group.
- Collaborate with other stake holders to identify and assess technologies, solutions and standards that support the organizational needs and long term business plans.
- Improvise product marketing strategies and enable the sales team to effectively sell the solution to customer globally.
Operational :
Communicate the road map and technology strategy to the team and obtain their buy-in.
Developmental :
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices by attending relevant conferences and keeping abreast of the published reports and literature surrounding this area.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Performance reviews, counseling and training as need for team members.
Required Skills :
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering preferably in the field of electronics and communication/ computer science/ telecommunications.
- MBA/PGDBA from a reputed institute or equivalent management experience at work.
- Prior experience of leading a Product Unit with P&L responsibility in the high-technology area.
- Media (Music / Radio/ Video) background would be an added advantage.
- Quick learner who can function well in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
- Minimum of 15 years of work experience (from leading consumer internet/media business) with 8 to 10 years in senior managerial positions
