The company has recently received close to $100 Million Series C Round during the COVID pandemic. It has an account keeping and a payment product which is used by millions of merchants in India.

About the Opportunity:

The client is looking for a Director of Product who will be responsible for identifying problems, prioritizing ideas, and solving them through product - right from problem discovery to conceptualization to launch.

About the Role / Responsibilities:

1. Owner Mindset: As a Product Leader, you will be expected to be another entrepreneur at the company who exhibits an owner mindset and is comfortable going beyond the defined role. You embrace as well as excel and thrive in front of a complex, ambiguous, and uncertain challenge.

2. Product Leadership: Set processes and systems to scale the team and its effectiveness. Mentor and invest in the growth of your team. Identify hiring needs and own hiring end to end in your area. Lead from the front and be comfortable to be hands-on.

3. Business Strategy: Craft out our long-term vision and business strategy to achieve the Northstar. Identify new product lines and innovation opportunities.

4. Product Strategy: Define both long-term product strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact.

5. Execution: You will primarily drive product conceptualization, product development, execution, and Go-to-Market via your team. Leaders are expected to be comfortable in being hands-on.

Desired Experience / Background:

1. A lot of empathy to identify the customer pain points and predict the future market needs in advance to build innovative products so as to stay relevant.

2. You have at least 8 years of experience in Product Management and at least 3 years of experience leading a team of Product Managers.

3. You think backward from a customer's perspective.

4. You have a strong focus on experience and system-driven thinking.

5. You understand technology, but love customer-first & business-first thinking.
