Director - Product - Hyperlocal Advertising Platform (12-15 yrs)

Our client is a hyperlocal platform, that helps businesses to advertise to the right audience by targeting the audience with relevant ads on apps and websites. Their multiple ad campaigns target different demographics languages and locations to attract the consumers. Their network offers unequalled inventory that reaches 90% of the internet users across the world. Their platform also provides best insights in the performance of the ad campaigns- specific to cities, areas, and other demographics.

As Director Product, you will be responsible for defining the roadmap, overseeing development & realizing the vision of our hyper-local paid marketing stack. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities that lead to the growth of the product through innovation while still maintaining the fundamental business goals/priorities.

You will be responsible for the reporting & insights modules of the product. Reporting modules includes integrating & setting up insightful user-friendly dashboards for drawing insights from a large stream of data across thousands of hyper-local campaigns on Google Ads Platform. The reporting dashboards are also expected to give signals for campaign optimization & management.

What you will do :

- Planning & delivering on the product roadmap, product innovations & ultimately the performance of the product for clients marketing requirements.

- Working closely with business analysts & delivery heads to get insights of campaign management converting them into feasible product features for improving clients performance.

- Recruiting, leading and managing a team of Product Managers, Product Associates & UI / UX experts.

- Working closely with the Engineering team to align them on the product vision, features & delivery of the product roadmap.

- Developing training & marketing material for sales teams evangelizing the proprietary product & Google Ad Products.

- Participating in client meetings as a Product Expert on a regular basis, take feedback and translate learning into product enhancements.

Candidate Profile :

What you need to have :

- Minimum education qualification - Bachelors Degree in Engineering from a reputable institute.

- Post Graduate Degree in Management will be an advantage.

- Total Work Experience of 12-15 Years majority of which should be spent in a product management/development role.


- A stint in Engineering/software development background is a must.

- Preferably, the above experience should be inclusive of 5+ years of work experience in a Marketing SaaS company.

- Excellent analytical, quantitative & problem-solving skills. The candidate should possess the ability to use information/data and various metrics to develop an informed and factual business case.

- Understanding of AdTech / Martech landscape & operational understanding of Google Advertising platform.

- Excellent written & oral communication skills. The position is a supervisory position and communication must be effective down the line in order to ensure the proper execution of the roles/functions in all junior positions.

- Extremely passionate about marketing automation space.
