The Position is with Trust & Safety Operations Team that ensure that our global community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all platforms, while protecting the brand. As the Director of Trust &amp; Safety Regional Operations you work to balance user behavior, growth, and safety through systems and operations to ensure our platforms health. You will think strategically about scaling regional operations, as well as tactically about enforcement integrity. This senior role must balance internal operational realities with external policy pressures, enhance operational teams and culture while communicating complex ideas to management and creating internal alignment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding international team, and a unique chance to be one of the first members in our newly opened office. Position Description - Craft content policies for a global community on platforms with ownership of one or multiple issue domains for global markets; - Collaborate with Global Public Policy, Product, Operations, Legal, and Public Relations teams to build consensus on and improve content policies, and streamline our policies and processes around the enforcement of our platform policies and other business product policies; - Help articulate, interpret and implement content policies externally and internally; - Act as a global escalation point of contact, align all stake-holders and respond to emergency content safety-related cases. Position Requirements - Bachelors degree in Public Policy or Law related field - At least 10 years of experience in policy, policy enforcement, or public policy, specifically regarding technology/social media/content - Experience with international Internet/social media/content issues Preferred Qualification: - Advanced degree in a related field - Experience working at a tech company
