The Growth Marketing team is a horizontal team that cuts across all the existing and upcoming verticals. This team is responsible for traffic, acquisition, activation and reactivation of users to the platform.
Director of performance & growth marketing spearheads the new user acquisition & activation efforts for the company. She/he will lead a team of performance marketers and work closely with internal teams such as - business, product, analytics, brand, design, research and finance to build and execute on the strategy and roadmap for the new user charter.
What will you do :
- Build and align the strategy for user acquisition and activation
- Deliver the new user acquisition & activation goals by identifying and leveraging the growth opportunities across media, discounts, partnerships and product initiatives.
- Lead all performance marketing channels for user acquisition - Google ads, Facebook ads, Affiliates, Youtube, etc. to deliver best in class CAC.
- Develop growth hacking strategies and work with various internal teams to deliver results
- On-board and manage external marketing partners (Agencies/ automation tools) to have best in class solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness
- Influence the product team to define the roadmap for new user journey on the platform
- Own the new user creative and communication strategy (off-app & on-app) by collaborating with brand and design
Desired Skills :
- Strong performance marketing & growth skills with 6-8 years of experience in managing performance/growth marketing in consumer internet companies, with at least 4 years of leading a team
- In-depth knowledge of martech landscape, has a keen interest in new developments in the digital marketing space
- Strong stakeholder management, project management and collaboration skills
- Should be able to hire, coach and guide the team to deliver world class performance
- Lots of hustle, comfortable with ambiguity, and a mindset of experimentation is a big plus
