Director - Operations - School - IIM/ISB (8-16 yrs)

Our client is one of the Education Services Company based out of Hyderabad. The company operates a chain of K-12 Schools and Playschools in India. It's a PE funded group and a recipient of Great Places To Work Award by Economic Times.

They are looking for a School - Director for their Vizag campus.

Job Outline:

- Responsible and Accountable to provide Vision for the campus

- Develop a strategic roadmap for the school in line with the vision and mission of the group and drive the execution of the strategic roadmap at a unit level

- Provide BUSINESS LEADERSHIP to the campus (Business Unit)

- Own the P&L account of the school. Accountable to the corporate for the revenues, expenses and timely cash flow from the campus and financial performance of the unit across key KPIs like revenues, fee-collections, cost optimizations etc, customer and employee satisfaction, academic performance of the students, non-academic operations of the school.

- Drive stakeholder satisfaction via a variety of corporate and unit level initiatives to have a happy school community comprising of satisfied parents, students, teaching and non-teaching staff

- Work closely with the corporate team and leveraging the team's expertise in managing the business unit and develop the campus as a great place to work.

- Implement systems and process for efficient management, reporting regularly on key performance parameters of the unit and sharing best practices with other business units

Candidate Profile

Ideally looking for a candidate who has:

- A regular MBA from ISB/ IIM

- 8+ years of top Management experience in service industry preferred

- Skills: Technical - Business Acumen. Networking among influential groups in society. Ability to engage in intellectual conversation with people.

- Experience in building, strengthening and leading a large cross-functional team comprising of academicians and non-academicians, effectively managing their performance to drive organizational growth

- Demonstrated abilities to handle the P&L of a medium size business unit - driving profitability via revenue growth and efficient utilization of resources.

- Experience in handling the operations of a mid-size service-oriented business unit with an extremely high focus on driving employee and customer satisfaction.
