Director - Operations - Online/Internet - IIT/NIT/IIM/ISB (5-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for month on month Business operations cost delivery based on annual operating plan (AOP), a business growing at the pace of 15-20% every month.
- Work with City operations team (100+ General Managers and 20+ P&L heads) to build process and systems for cost management and visibility to achieve Opex numbers for both short term and long term.
- Lead Business capabilities team to build efficient operations model, Technology solutions and scale up the same for AOP profitability delivery and invent process to scale up the business 10x
- Work business finance team to support for cost hygiene in P&L.
- Work with business unit heads to own the entire property operations cost. Hire, mentor and build a high performing team of 10+ project managers, associates and analysts to support ground operations
Required Skills:
- Strong People leader who can influence and motivate large teams on ground
- Ability to create scalable and repeatable process
- Ability to create technology products along with the engineering teams to automate operations on ground
- Objective and structural problem solving skills
- Data driven and strong analytical mind frame
- Ability to build and innovate different operating models
Eligibility:
- Undergraduate degree from a Tier I college/university in India or MBA/PGDM from Tier I Colleges in India
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience managing large scale operations
- Must have lead a team of managers, worked in cross functional teams to meet a common business goal
- Entrepreneurial work experience will be highly preferable
