Job Description - Our client is looking to hire a head of operations. The candidate should have an experience in both manufacturing as well as supply chain and should come from FMCG/Food/Flavours industry

They cater in functions of processing and marketing for food, beverages and pharmaceutical markets as per their customers' requirements with the help of their R&D teams.

Description :

Reporting to the Business Head, you will be responsible for:

- Owning accountability for functions of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Care and Procurement in the Indian region by leading best in-class team for delivering best quality products

- Acting as a direct point of contact among teams of Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance and Procurement teams and executing QHSE programs across organization to drive a safety and quality focused culture

- Developing Sub-region strategy aligning with company's long-term plans and leadership and actively inspiring, coaching and empowering teams to ensure achievement of goals, employee engagement, growth culture and efficient collaboration across the organization

- Driving cost reduction and improving profitability in activities of procurement by working with Regional Procurement Team and fostering a continuous improvement mindset across teams and delivering on scale goals

- Actively engaging in NPD by working with Commercial and Manufacturing teams to efficiently meet customer expectations and driving S&OP planning for delivering goals through strategic supply solutions and optimizing inventory

Profile :

Ideally you are an Engineer with at least 15 years of experience (6-8 years in leadership role) in a food manufacturing or FMCG industry. You have solid experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related function with excellent communication skills, cross functional leadership and result oriented attitude. You can operate, influence and achieve goals by encouraging cross functional collaboration and continuously improving the environment. You have an impressive track record of accomplishments and are ready for new challenges.
