Director - Network Management - Telecom

Responsibilities:

Overall NW planning and execution across all India sites.

Design & implement arch for data center connectivity / highway / dark fiber etc. with clear focus on inter-connectivity / quality (reliability & resilience) & cost

Design and implement Passive network infrastructure for new green field DCs, optimize for existing DCs.

Work with central & state govt agencies (DOT / TRAI / MIETY) to define NW connectivity related policies with support from above agencies / analysts / OEMS etc.

Cross-connect - Design, Feasibility, Service delivery and service assurance across different locations.

Exposure to NW cyber security will be added advantage.

Understanding of license requirements, rules, regulations, commercials etc.

Develop strong relationship with ISPs.

Design and build NW strategy & interconnect.

Technical skills and experience around WAN, MPLS, Dark Fibers, DWDM, Datacenter Interconnects, Active and Passive cross connects etc.

Time to time travel to all locations where the company operates including interactions with local authorities, ISP, Telcos, Specialized connectivity providers etc.

Influencing / contributing to policy formation / making, working with central / state govt agencies.

Arch & implement highway interconnect, internet exchange.

Design, implementation & Service assurance for existing + new cross connects.

Working closely with partner eco system to explore new technology / product.

Requirements:

Strong NW technical skills + exposure to new technologies for interconnect.

Worked on building eco system with various stakeholders for NW interconnect.

Strategy planning and development.

Structured physical network design.

Active and Passive cross connect design & Implementation.

Outside in view to explore NW design.

Strong industry / analyst / partner connects.

Clear focus on bz benefits, quality, process.

DC Interconnect and Internet Exchange arch and operations.

Global exposure in NW domain will be an added advantage.
