Director - Marketing - Retail/FMCG (15-20 yrs)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Calendar , Communication , Innovation , Ecommerce and Delivery channel for the brand in India
- Construct & execute the delivery retail calendar focused on acquisition, retention, and experience
- Deepen franchise engagement and connect for driving branding agenda
- Develop a pipeline of OLO initiatives to drive growth and brand visibility
- Drive disruptive partnerships, buzz worthy / PR linked news on OLO and improve app rating
- Elevate brand comms to better reflect brand voice, tone, and flair across all channels
- Challenge and elevate thinking for stakeholders - marketing team / cross functional / Franchise teams and aggregators with sharper consumer segmenting, profitable product pipeline, and quick Tech integrations
- Grow business through upsell, customizations, add on, peak days, partnerships
- Improve customer experience journey
- Building sustainable business model through right priced products, strategic use of value and healthy Cost of Sales
- Continue to invest and grow in-house talent, enable the high-performance team to deliver targets
- Collaborate with other sub functions of marketing and further strengthen function's thinking beyond the scope of immediate role
- Ensure that all marketing and public relations activities comply with local legislative requirements viz., Trademark protection, trade practices, etc.
- Develop, implement and oversee execution of an integrated public relations program designed to enhance understanding and image of company amongst opinion leaders, employees and the general public.
- Provide input to strategic planning process, periodic review and update of strategic plans.
- Direct and approve all market/ consumer research projects and maintain an overall research program that encompasses advertising research, competitor information, market potential, consumer attitudes etc.
- Direct and approve all advertising and sales promotion activities and material. Monitor and evaluate Agencies' and other external vendors/ interfaces' performance and recommend changes as appropriate.
