Director Of Marketing
Summary:
- The Director of Marketing manages several overall Client relationships, or several lanes within one larger client relationship.
- Leverage a keen understanding of Client marketing and business objectives to develop high level customer communications that drive desired customer behaviour and are passionately aligned with the Client's brand positioning.
- Lead the integration of key company capability areas to ensure adherence to strategic plans and objectives. Manage resource allocation profitably.
- Ensure deliverables meet strategic requirements of the Client, add value to the client, and meet our quality standards.
Qualifications:
Job Experience
- 10+ of overall experience with 7+ years in sales and atleast 3 years in Digital Marketing and Brand Marketing
- Experience leading cross functional teams in creating integrated marketing programs for global brands
- Proven business development experience - leading RFP development and pitches for global brands
- At least 4+ years of Digital agency experience required
Education
- Bachelor degree required. Master degree preferred.

Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions:
- Program Development and Execution
- Leads and manage multiple client relationships, serving as the primary and high level contact to articulate our company view on strategy and business philosophies
- Sells in new project ideas to client that aligns with their business, customer and brand goals
- Manages clients expectations, pushing back when necessary
- Proactively solicits feedback from the client on team and relationship with our company.
- Supports new business initiatives within your own client and other potential clients
- Facilitates and own all legal contracts for your client
- Owns and communicate to the extended internal team, the overall client vision and the vision for all marketing programs for your client's business
- Owns financials for the client - steering forecasts, budgets, and investments- resolving any issues with the client, senior leadership or finance when necessary
- Oversees all deliverables of the extended internal team to ensure clients expectations are being met - highlight issues to the client when necessary
- Keeps Executive sponsor on the business apprised of any issues with client i.e. missed deadlines, client strategy issues, etc.
- Aligns business appropriately with the right staff - ensure the capability mix is correct and that the marketing team is leveled appropriately to deliver i.e. all clients have someone to engage with as needs on a project arise
- Incorporates the Delivery Management team on projects when scale and complexity of the work requires their expertise - outline and monitor rules of engagement for Marketing and Delivery team
- Ensures team delivers high quality work on strategy, and on time
- Develops relationships with the extended team that enhances the teams ability to deliver excellence
- Develops case studies on your business
- Experience bringing digital campaigns including: web asset development, digital campaign orchestration, building a brands social media presence, community management, web video production, earned media campaigns, and facebook applications.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a strategic plan for building a brand through digital marketing and social media.
- experience working collaboratively with a brand team and creative agencies to create integrated online and offline campaigns that deliver brand messages in the digital space.
- A thorough understanding and appreciation for the new media landscape and the ability to evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions.
- Perform detailed evaluation of client business environment including customer needs, capabilities/assets, and competitive realities to identify unique market opportunities and threats
- Lead the design of insight driven digital strategies from opportunity identification through to experience definition. Structure and present recommendations to senior client leadership for approval
- Partner with Creative, Technology, Analytics and Account Management to ensure successful project handoff and work is appropriately positioned for long-term success
- Contribute to or lead new business development, recruiting, team skill development, and digital "evangelization" initiatives

- Develops people within the team and across capabilities by coaching, identifying areas for growth, celebrating successes, managing promotion process, keeping an open dialogue with your team, identifying training opportunities
- Manages Managers or ADs on the team by providing guidance, establishing goals and providing an appropriate level of feedback on a regular basis
- Establishes and grows relationships across capabilities
Other Functions That May Be Required
- Travel
- Participation in internal initiatives - i.e. Offering Development, Training Module Development, New Business Pitches, etc.
