- Looking for a Director to champion its Recurring Revenue Services Management function, to be based out of Bangalore, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming the current team from a day-to-day/reactive managed services team to a customer/market focused team with a laser focus on core and hub recurring revenue recognition, retention, and growth. The ability to effectively manage the balance between day to day activities and identifying/initiating/driving revenue improvements projects is a critical skill set. The responsibilities include the overall organization's recurring revenue services management ownership for existing and planned products and services. - The Director position will require a leader capable of leading a culture transformation, strong business acumen, a thorough understanding of the mobile roaming/local and carrier services and strong people/influencing skills. This role will be responsible for providing day-to-day service management support for the organization's current and planned recurring revenue product portfolio. Job Description: - Fully accountable for all aspects of the company's recurring revenue (non-support) stream including forecasting, analyzing, monitoring, tracking, managing, reporting, retention, improvements, and growth. - Complete ownership of recurring revenue billing, revenue share and settlement process development, implementation, streamlining and execution both internally and externally. - Relying on NOC to proactively monitor and manage all recurring revenue related platform performance and traffic and creatively finding ways to increase traffic which may include recommending campaigns. - Leading team efforts on all managed services trials (such as PI SBD, QoS) and preparing reports, presentation and interacting with customers directly. - Playing an active role in the product planning process by defining business requirements, and/or any reporting and processes changes in the product definitions phase. - Leading the service management function (e.g. providing input to the customer offer proposals and business model, pricing/costing, and revenue share processes to support the offers). - Proactively monitoring, reporting and ensuring all customers- SLA commitments are met or exceeded. - Ownership of planning and forecasting all aspects of the service platform to support the revenue plan. This includes service platform capacity, DNIS, DID, trunk and channel capacities. - Planning, designing, implementing, streamlining and on-going management of all hub partners and customer interface processes. - Owning, managing and updating all recurring revenue related databases including the ones required for call optimization and billing. - Performing technical analysis with the customer support team on as needed basis. - Coauthoring ORT plan with the NOC lead and conducting ORT. Desired Profile: Educational Qualification: - B.E. / B.Tech., M.E./M. Tech. or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA Skill Sets: - Extensive revenue management experience with mobile/telecom carrier services. Proven ability to increase and sustain revenue streams though proactive vigilance and analysis. - Business savvy and leadership ability to operationally drive results through team efforts. - Experience balancing short term and long term decisions towards creating and enhancing revenue streams. Includes expertise in analyzing and identifying opportunities for revenue growth, understanding revenue models, revenue recognition, and supporting product management and field on as needed basis. - Strength in creative business operations problem solving, influencing key decisions, and shaping conversations to achieve desired outcomes. - Can shape organizational structures and strongly influence peers, with an ability to hold others accountable to execute on new directions and initiatives. - Proven track record in building and leading a high performing team of at least 10 people managed services/revenue, management team. - Ability to attract and assess talent, direct individual and team performance, manage up as well as down, improve execution, and inspire innovation and growth. Ability to quickly assess talent, coach weaknesses, and bring on missing skill sets into the organization. - Very strong teaming and collaborative skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and make decisions with incomplete information. Must be able to stay on point and drive consensus around decisions. Additional Qualification: - Demonstrated ability to develop accurate revenue forecasting. - Very strong influencing and negotiating skills both with customers, partners, and internal business leaders. - Experience working in a multi-national company having managed services and operational responsibility for a global product portfolio. - Very strong people leadership skills, to be able to mentor, inspire and develop a diverse set of a cross-cultural and multi-functional team.
