We have an opening with one of my clients for the role of Litigation, Compliance & Regulatory.

Role: Legal - Litigation, Compliance & Regulatory

Designation: Director.

Job Location: Bangalore.

Reports to: Sr Director - Legal

Job Description:

Corporate Compliance & Regulatory:

- Ensuring corporate/ regulatory/secretarial compliance of the company.

- Preparing and presenting Board reports with respect to Compliance and Ethics cases noted during the quarter and action took with respect to such issues.

Contract Law:

- Prepared, negotiated and finalized complex technology outsourcing agreements advised senior management on risk mitigation thereof.

- Enabled organization in transitioning customer support services to an outsourcing vendor. Handled the drafting, review, and negotiation of multi-million dollar contracts with new vendors.

Litigation:

- Successfully managed proactive and reactive civil and criminal litigation with respect to data breach matter and intermediary issues, consumer litigation, corporate litigations on real estate, recovery suits etc

- Handled queries of various teams across the organization related to litigation.

- Briefed senior counsels on a case to case basis.

- Responsible for updating knowledge management database and developed MIS for senior management.

- Identified /developed solutions for any emerging issues affecting the organization.
