Director - Learning & Development (5-10 yrs)

Director Learning & Development

Responsibilities

- Overseeing all of learning functions

- Peer to 2 learning roles (regional and business learning director)

- Corporate functional learning and development programs (finance, HR, ISC, government relations)

- Program owners of different programs - design changes and updates on programs (e.g. GM development, commercial development) 2-5 programs

- Facilitating training (training delivered by vendor), facilitate with internal SMEs and vendors to deliver on the program

- First 6 mths goals - gain understanding of existing portfolio, identify potential opportunities for standardization, identify potential gaps, get baseline understanding of HON structure and initiatives

- Most of clients located in MP

- This role will manage Functional Learning for Company, leading a team of 3 Learning Directors. This role will also manage the learning needs for a global client group such as Commercial Excellence for theCompany. Both areas of responsibility will include the learning process for the functions while partnering with cross-functional teams and leaders to advise on HR services and actively engage in learning & development. You will utilize your learning functional expertise to align critical human resources principles with Company's business objectives.

- Provide integrated learning solutions that enable organizational growth, sustainable learning and talent development

- Build a learning culture in the organization that drives both high performance and high engagement for the company

- Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Human Resources organization

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree

- 5+ yrs of executive level leadership development experience

- Multinational/ global experience

- No industry preference

- People management experience at least from project management perspective

- No one from academic background is suitable

- Experience with a learning management system

- Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment

- Previously demonstrated leadership skills

- Ability to find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization.

- Ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
