Director/Lead Engineer Desktop &amp; Mobility for End User Computing Location : Pune or Bangalore Corporate Title : Director A Lead Engineer will have extensive experience of many, varying engineering implementations, and through this has become an expert in an at least one area of engineering; acting as a "go to" reference across the organisation. They may take functional (not resource management) oversight of engineering delivery for a department, continuously reviewing designs and quality and driving re-use. They will play a role in improving engineering capability in their area through recruitment and development activities. They take important design decisions and engineering approaches that can be disruptive within and outside of their department towards simplifying architecture, reducing technical debt and increasing flow. Key responsibilities: - Be a thought leader, designer &amp; lead engineer for the cloud strategy for desktop &amp; mobility devices in close collaboration with the Product Manager. Lead the technical delivery to modernize desktop mgmt. and enable more remote mgmt.: - MS Intune / Endpoint Manager, Win10 Autopilot, Evergreen, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 Apps - Migration from GPO processes towards Intune policies and enhance application portfolio including package automation, transition to Windows Store, Test automation - Establish an EUC Engineering culture in India, making the environment attractive for more engineers in the EUC / Infra field - Engineer products in line with all Architectural and Governance standards and controls while ensuring adherence to the SDLC process in a regulated environment - Ensure all solutions are engineered and built with Security standards at the forefront. Cloud Desktop Security, Conditional access, Security Baselines, Defender ATP, Sentinel. Continuous enhancement and modernizing of the firm's desktop security - Creating and maintaining structured documentation for all platforms in scope including technical designs, release notes, test cases, and vendor improvement requests - Engage with other technology and security teams to ensure the platform is fit for purpose, cost effective and adheres to the engineering standards and Bank policies Your skills and experience : - Experience of engineering desktop &amp; mobility products in a large global environment, with a dispersed global team - Ability to work in detail on technical designs, solutions and the definition of a security architecture paired with excellent documentation and presentation skills with strong focus and working knowledge of Windows, VPN and Cloud services (e.g. Azure, MS Intune) - Infrastructure design experience including availability and resilience approaches, data center setups, virtualization, networks as well as other end user productivity environments like Exchange Online, OneDrive and SharePoint Online - Ability to work with individuals in a virtual, multi-vendor and multi-cultural environment with different level of technical understanding; should be able to adjust communication style based on the targeted audience - Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members, thereby have the ability to motivate and build effective teams - Proven experience in a lead technical role incl. agile development framework like Scrum and very strong ability to analyse, structure, and break-down complex tasks into manageable pieces - Knowledge of and experience in the Financial Services industry and its regulations - Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills
