The Director of Information Technology Operations oversees the organizations IT service delivery, operations and supports the security posture, information risk management and compliance, cybersecurity strategies for the company.

This position is accountable for developing and implementing components of enterprise security, risk and IT policies, monitoring security risks, and managing the core IT operational functions and working with the various functional group leadership to align compliance, security and IT services with business needs. This position will direct a team of external service providers and internal Corporate IT professionals charged with delivering secure, high-performance and scalable security and technology services to internal clients, is a member of the Technology Leadership Team.

Reports directly to the Managing Director and has a dotted line to the Chief Information Officer & Chief Information Security Officer.

Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure management (60% of the whole responsibility): For their offices in India and USA

2. Digital Transformation (30% of the responsibility): They are looking for individuals who have experience in working with Software/ Product companies containing DevOps teams. They are looking for an individual who has experience in setting up and customizing public cloud platforms to set up testing environments for the DevOps teams. 

3. DevOps (5 % of the responsibility): They are looking for someone who has an understanding of how the DevOps team functions to provide them with customized solutions

4. Security (5% of the Responsibility): They are looking for someone who has an understanding of the security as they already have a team that is taken care of by the CISO. However, he is looking for someone who understands the aspects of security and someone who would be able to implement policies for the organization.

In Detail:

Information Security & Compliance Management:

- Executes the organizations information security capability strategies and ensures protection of the enterprise information assets and manages the program inclusive of; communications, applications, and infrastructure, policies and procedures

- Ensures the execution and coordination proper disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and updated on a regular basis as defined by the business

- Contributes and executes security policies, controls, and operational cyber incident response actions

In support of the CIO & CISO, performs in-depth reviews after security incidents occur within the organization, including impact analysis and ensuring plans are in place to avoid future vulnerabilities

- Maintains an understanding of the IT threat within the corporate environment across all office locations

- Executes the security plans for all CNSI projects and ensures compliance via audits

- Ensures cyber security policies, and any associated changes, are communicated clearly to all personnel and enforce compliance

- Manages enterprise-wide information security governance process, working cross-functionally with other IT functions as needed

- Executes and maintains cyber security strategy to leverage new technology and threat information

- Establishes annual and future state IT security goals and strategies and aligns with needs of the business

- Manages the organizations security program to ensure compliance with applicable regulations

- Maintains corporate security policies and procedures and directs external service providers in their implementation and enforcement

- Creates and/or updates security plans, instructions, briefings, policies and guidance as needed in support of the CIO & CISO

Corporate IT:

- Defines and communicates corporate plans, procedures, policies, and standards for the organization for acquiring, implementing, and operating new security systems, equipment, software, and other technologies

- Interfaces with management team, P&L leads, business executives, technology leaders and partners to support the strategic direction of Information Technology and Security services

- Ensures alignment with business systems, Infrastructure & applications strategies in accordance with the established strategies of the CIO & CISO

- Maintains a robust information technology strategy to ensure innovation while optimizing costs

- Responsible for leading / overseeing enterprise-wide technology projects in conjunction with external service providers, ensuring projects achieve their intended outcomes on time and on budget

- Partners with internal business units to make sure that technological solutions and security & compliance support are delivered across the organization

- Manages the administration of all computer security systems and their corresponding or associated software, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cryptography systems, and anti-virus software

- Manages the administration of the facility's security systems and their corresponding equipment or software, including fire alarms, locks, intruder detection systems, sprinkler systems, and anti-theft measures

- Ensure that facilities, premises, and equipment adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

- Implements and performs Corporate IT Governance to ensure consistent alignment with business goals and strategy

- Be process driven and prioritize communication in regards to IT operations, security and vendor management

- Proactively directs and manages external service providers to design solutions and assure timely and effective delivery of services

Talent Development:

- Mentors and oversees internal Corporate IT staff members

- Encourages and facilitates the development of a significant knowledge base in others

- Gives both negative and positive feedback

Required:

- Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree

Preferred Majors: Information Technology, Business Administration or a closely related field

- Minimum 10+ years of IT leadership experience at large complex organizations, including leading centralized and/or matrixed teams with extensive work experience in the Government contracting industry

- Experience as a people manager

- Experience in the service provider industry

Preferred:

- Masters Degree or another advanced degree in a closely related field

- Experience in managing an outsourced, collaborative technology environment

- ISC2 CAP, CEH, CISSP, CBCP, PMP, ITIL or comparable certification

Technology Skills:

Required:

- Microsoft Stack, Linux, Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, VoIP, Cisco Routing & Switching, Deltek CostPoint, UltiPro, GRC Tools
