Director - Investor Services - Asset Management (14-17 yrs)

Our client a a leading global alternative asset management company is seeking a dynamic, results-driven individual to join as Director Investor Services

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Investor Services Director will build out a team that is currently in its infancy in Mumbai. The medium-term vision is to grow the team 50/50 in US/India, and s/he with their US counterparts will work towards building out a seamless, international team. This person will be joining a team whose mandate is continuing to grow, which will shortly cover (Private Equity, Real Assets, Credit, plus Employees as Investors). This person will be the day-to-day manager, with a special focus on governance over its processes and be a champion for data integrity. She/he will be an integral part of operationalizing and optimizing procedures, as well as improving the client experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Build-out of a growing team - professional development, talent management

- Day-to-day management of the team's deliverables:

- Investor Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

- Investor Reporting & Delivery via Investor Portal

- Management Reporting

- Investor Inquiries

- Investor-related system administration (CRM, Portal)

- Develop/update Investor Services Procedures

- Develop Controls, KPIs, Dashboards, SLAs for oversight & management of function

- Work closely with US counterpart to optimize work across teams

- Champion strategic overhaul of the department; operationalize transformation projects into BAU processes

- Support Risk Management process for Investor Services

- Liaise with Marketing, Finance, Legal, external Admins, and other teams to align end-to-end processes

- Continuously assess processes & procedures for improvements & standardization
