Hiring for Director of IoT Position

Understanding of IoT in at least one of the following industry :

- Manufacturing

- Energy and Natural Resources (Oil & Gas, Power, utilities, mining, metals)

- Should have worked in India market substantially and have connects at CXO levels

- Should have driven revenue nos

- At this position I am not looking for people with pre-sales background

- Be ready to travel extensively

- They have worked in the local market and lead P/L

- Have a sales and delivery role both

Target Organization : GE, CISCO, Rockwell, Siemens, Bosch, TCS, IBM, Accenture, Big 4s

JD :

The Director we are looking for will lead the area of IoT within Digital. This role is primarily for the Domestic (India) market though the candidate will work with the larger global team to create assets, services and also collaborate to provide proposals / solutions to Global clients.

His / Her role will be to :

- Consolidate the current practice and team; grow it to serve the domestic network clients

- Own the P/L and drive numbers; Drive both top and bottom line

- Create the IoT plan for the next 3 years to drive large deals. In doing so he / she will work with the other teams within DCS, across Management Consulting (MC) and the Industry teams to create solutions and go to market

- Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge in the areas mentioned in the previous section

- Create and / or facilitate thought leadership in the area and brand for this service in the market and within the Global network.

- Be part of the Global and local Industry 4.0 team

- Responsible for his / her own career planning, performance development and that of the team members

THE INDIVIDUAL :

- Should come with at least 14-15 years of experience

- Should possess a strong understanding of IoT, associated technologies and the IoT ecosystem

- The individual should have worked in the Manufacturing or ENR sector in this area

- Should have an understanding of the application of IoT in these industries and should be able to weave the story right from conceptualizing the solution to implementation of the solution including analytics and actionable insights

- He / She should be entrepreneurial, be a market maker and have connects in the India Market with deep acumen for business development

- He / She should have driven profitable P/Ls and created practices

- Should possess strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Possess strong data analytics skills and knowledge of advanced data analytical tools

- Demonstrate integrity, values, principles and strong work ethic

- Have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and navigate complex environment

- Have the ability to work under pressure - stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours
