Opening with one of the big five for the position of Director International Taxation, Mumbai

- Assisting and representing before departmental authorities for Corporate Income-tax assessments and appeals.

- Preparation of submission and replies to show cause notices and other tax matters; preparation of submissions for appeals matters, ITAT and Authority for Advance Rulings.

- Assisting on international taxation and cross border tax and exchange control regulatory matters.

- Advising and assisting expatriates (inbound and outbound) to comply with Indian tax and other regulatory requirements.

- Handling of Tax due diligence.

- Handling of Corporate Income-tax and exchange control regulatory compliances matters.

- Delivering internal tax clearance memo.

- Liaison with Statutory, Tax, Internal, SOX & other auditors

- Preparing compliance checklist to be followed by different entity complying with various regulation of SEBI and RBI;

- Computation of Advance Tax and TDS related compliances for various clients;

- Issue of opinions on various domestic as well as international tax issues such as Withholding tax implications etc. on investments made in India by Offshore funds;

- Other Miscellaneous Income tax work such as preparing rectification letter, Reply to Notice of outstanding Demand and Reply to notice of arrears adjustments.
