Director - Insight Analytics - FMCG

Skill required : Strong FMCG domain experience, insight analytics, transformation and change management.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and execute the design and delivery of transformation projects across Europe Insights and Analytics.

To include :

- Execute Insights and Analytics GBS Wave 1 (reporting and business intelligence focus)

- Complete execution readiness for Insights and Analytics GBS Wave 1 go live.

- Manage transition of activities in line with the roadmap. Expand to additional BU and Categories.

- Manage coordination of Insights and Analytics go live in line with wider GBS programme process.

- Ensure alignment with other transformation initiatives (e.g. PPD 2.0).

- Drive full integration between the analytical teams, clarity of roles, responsibilities and the workflow

- Design and execute governance model, identify opportunities / address issues. concerns.

- Work closely with insights leadership team to identify and un-lock further efficiencies.

- Lead the design and alignment of next wave Insights and Analytics transformation opportunities for Europe:

- Work with Insights leadership to design end-state operating model within wider transformation context

- Leverage to build a clear vision and roadmap for future Europe I&A Op model, establish clear roles for different Insights components (BU, Category, Sector and GBS) and wiring needed to operate effectively

- Use to inform future Europe talent / skills needs and build resourcing pipeline.

- Establish enablers needed (process, systems, tools) and design workstreams to deliver these.

- Build overall roadmap for Insights and Analytics transformation with clear Horizon 1/2/3 deliverables.

- Put in place governance processes to manage progress and maintain momentum.

- Lead the design and alignment of GBS expansion for Insights and Analytics.

- Work alongside leads from other sectors to understand best practice & inform Europe scope.

- Identify potential activities to add to GBS scope, align scope, priorities and benefits.

- Build business case for expansion based balancing opportunity with business risk.

- Manage alignment with senior business stakeholders and global / sector program management.

- Establish enablers (IT, processes, ways of working), and plans accordingly.

- Identify resource needed and build resourcing pipeline in coordination with other sectors / PMO.

- Adapt org design and roles within Insights hubs. Lead recruitment effort to resource expansion.

Key Skills Needed :

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence and demonstrate confidence in communications with senior level management

- Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills. Comfortable managing trade-offs and resolving conflict. Experience managing a culturally diverse senior stakeholder group.

- Strong project management skills; track record of overseeing a portfolio of transformation projects, gained in the organization, a similar scale corporate or as an external consultant.

- Experience at managing multi-country / functional projects. Able to work within a matrix PMO programme

- Self-motivated/self-starter with the ability to work independently.

- Chance management experience including comms, HR and legal processes, IT set up and transition.

- Flexibility in adjusting & reprioritizing to meet changing needs in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Solid presentational skills.

- Working knowledge of insights and analytics role process and tools. Similar for commercial functions.

- Ability to travel up to 10% of time to meet business partners, and to the GBS hub in Hyderabad.
