Director - Infrastructure Managed Services

Job Description :

- This role is designed to build and lead the operations for RL managed services offering. This person will be the bootstrapping player/coach for the engineering and operations team on this effort and will be responsible for foundational work that enables us to deliver and scale this offering.

- This position is responsible for ensuring continuous improvement in processes and communications and focusing on operations activities necessary to support company objectives associated with Managed Services. The individual would lead groups of engineers and subject matter experts, helping shape and oversee tools, platforms, and people.

The role would entail the following responsibilities :

- Work directly with various stakeholders for guidance on managed services direction

- Architect and deliver highly critical infrastructure services in a secure and compliant manner

- Develop Ops policies for monitoring and ongoing management

- Hire and build a world-class Engineering and Operations team

- Continuously review best practices for services catalog and reviewing how cost can be reduced to further our profitability

- Create standardization across company practices and verticals

Requirements :

- 15+ years in the IT space with at least 7 years in IT Infra Management/Managed Services

- Be extremely passionate and hands-on across a variety of technology platforms

- Should be aware of industry trends within the IT Infra space

- Should be well versed in the security and compliance policy aspect of delivering a mission-critical service

- Have proven experience bootstrapping a similar project
