Description - As a Director, you would be playing the role of a consultant, a design & build engineer, and have a support role as well. You will be required to provide consultancy and ensure the designing & development of the infrastructure, with only a minimal part of the role involving support work.

Job Description

Reporting to the VP Infrastructure, you will be responsible for:

- Having a good understanding and hands-on experience of Architecting and Designing multiple projects using DevOps culture, tools, and methodologies.

- Being well-versed with concepts of Agile Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery servers like Jenkins, Bamboo, Go

- Must have hands-on experience in one of the tools (i.e. Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Saltstack)

- Must have experience working with Virtualization and one of the Cloud computing technologies (i.e. VMWare, Azure/OpenStack or Amazon AWS)

- Having experience with Cloud Automation Tools - AWS CodeDeploy, AWS OpsWorks, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and Amazon EC2 Container Service, IBM Bluemix, Opscode Chef etc.

- Having experience with any one of the scripting language (i.e. Shell, ruby, python)

- Understanding of installation and administration of application servers (i.e. Tomcat/JBoss/Weblogic/Websphere) and web servers (i.e. Apache httpd/nginx)

- Must have in-depth understanding of SDLC

Profile

- B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent

- Minimum 18 years of experience.

- Must have good analytical skills

- Must have worked in a leadership role for 7+ years

- Experience in handling teams and managing conflicts

- Very good presentation skills

- Expert in Capacity Planning Design, cost and effort estimations

- Experience in software development & deployment guidelines and tools relating to the areas of software and infrastructure configuration management
