POSITION OVERVIEW:

- The Global Human Capital Operations Manager will be responsible for the creation, implementation and ongoing management of the Human Capital (HC) team's operations function that will support the firm globally. Establishing a strong operations platform that is based on well-defined processes, technology optimization and analytical capabilities is essential to Apollo's human capital operating model.


- This position will report to the Human Capital COO in New York and will partner with the global human capital team and key stakeholders across the firm (e.g., Technology, Finance, Risk Management) to define and lead the strategic direction for building a global operations function that supports core HC activities.


- Key areas of focus will include process re-engineering and developing standard operating procedures, optimization of HC technology investments, and developing HC reporting and analytics capabilities. Strong business acumen, experience in building and leading an operations platform from the ground up, experience managing HC technology, and a proven track record in driving change in a global organization will be critical for this

role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee the development of the HC operations function including strategic vision for the function, oversight of team structure, deliverables, activities and impact.

- Drive execution through the build out of an effective framework for processes and technology solutions that will deliver high quality HC service delivery.

- Lead process improvement initiatives across HC functional areas to maximize efficiency, optimize service delivery and ensure a high-quality experience for employees.

- Develop a standard firmwide approach for reporting key human capital metrics (i.e., headcount, diversity, recruitment pipeline activity). Create reporting templates/scorecards that can be automated/easily generated based on core data elements, define cadences for specific reporting activities as well as end users of reports.

- Build an HC analytics strategy that leverages data/reporting to deliver key insights across the firm's talent base. Identify leading external practices and internal business needs to inform a multi-phase roadmap that will provide predictive analytics.

- Define appropriate controls to ensure HC data integrity and minimize risk exposure.

- Build local capabilities to manage key human capital activities including RFP responses, background checks, etc.
