Roles and responsibilities:

- To partner directly with global and local leaders to create a tech-product culture

- Participate and/or lead HR Transformation projects and initiatives to develop talent, enhance employee experience, build critical capabilities and strengthen organization culture and engagement; in order to meet business objectives

- Strong knowledge and experience in developing policies and procedures

- Drive compensation and benefits initiatives

- Recognized as an expert HRBP and trusted HR Lead and provide guidance to others in this capacity.

- Own a metrics-based framework to understand the people trends and challenges within India, translating those into key performance indicators

- Oversee the full employee life cycle ensuring an optimal employment experience resulting in high employee engagement, productivity, and retention

- Participate in talent reviews and help identify and develop talent throughout the organization

- Maintain effective level of business literacy about company's vision, mission, goals, GTM strategy, business plans, technology, regulations pertaining to the EdTech industry, and our competitors

About You:

- General knowledge of the principles and practices of India Human Resources Management as well as local employment laws

- Outstanding partnering and influencing skills with a transparent and consultative approach with business leaders, peers, and partners

- Previous experience creating and leading regional high performing teams

- Experience in employer branding crafting employee value propositions

- Natural ability to operate with integrity and confidentiality

- Ability to multi-task and drive items to closure through well-honed planning organizing. Proactive in nature, going out of the way to learn and contribute

- Strong business acumen and proven ability to integrate HR and business strategies; ability to make thoughtful & data-driven decisions that consider individual and business needs

- Experience in an ambiguous and ever-evolving environment, with an emphasis on building and scaling
