Director - Human Resources - Corporate Affairs - Manufacturing (15-18 yrs)

- Implement Human Resource programs, processes and policies within the company with the organizational values, ethics and policies adhering to labor laws and agreements

- Coach and support leaders in managing talent development, succession planning, performance management, competence development.

- Coach leaders in the application of the company's values in their teams and in identifying and acting on their own development needs.

- Drive, challenge and support managers in change management, employee engagement, organizational, culture and people development initiatives to improve business performance by using available programs and tools.

- Advise, challenge and support the management on HR and related matters, based on high ethical standards in line with Volvo values, standards and principles

- Develop and implement strategies that support managers in handling various aspects of labor and employee relations to shape effective industrial relations and build employee engagement

- Implement effective HR management processes in collaboration with Volvo Group Centers of Expertise and HR Services in the country.

- Provide proactive leadership and creative insights to clarify and resolve complex business HR issues

- Secure efficient Administration processes in managing security, transportation, canteen and Liaising with appropriate local bodies

- Develop the Human Resources & Administration team by creating an inspiring team environment fostering engagement and high performance.

- Active participation in Country Functional Working Groups and HR projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

- University degree or equivalent, Masters in Human Resources Management preferred

- Preferably 15 years- experience in handling complete HR/ER/IR value chain

- Proven experience in leading an HR team

- Strong organizational, interpersonal and multi-cultural communication skills

- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and leading change management

- Understand and able to apply all HR processes and policies in the HR Service Delivery Model

- Ability to work successfully in a global organization

- Demonstrated expertise in coaching and facilitation

- Demonstrated experience with strong process-driven MNCs preferred as also a working knowledge of the local language.
