Hiring Head HR for one of our reputed clients responsible for heading the HR function which would include corporate, commercial & manufacturing. Experience into IR/Union management is a must.

- This role will participate in annual programme planning with our Centres of Excellence and be responsible to ensure consistent implementation and delivery.

- This role will be responsible for the effective implementation of the HR strategy and to create and maintain a strategic partnership with key stakeholders and in streamlining policies for efficiency.

Job title : Director - HR (Head HR - India)

Reports to : Sr. Director (Based in Dubai)

Location : Mumbai

Experience : 12 - 15 years post regular MBA (only premier institutes, preferred batches '00, '01 & '02)

Compensation : 60 - 70 lacs fixed plus variables

Key Accountability :

Manage Execution :

- Direct, coordinate and advise the annual calendar of HR deliverables (performance management, compensation planning, etc.). Elicit feedback regarding the effectiveness of HR Services and activities and, when appropriate, modify activities.

- Ensure that current and future business needs are reflected in the development and implementation of HR strategies or plans and that all projects and deliverable are aligned with strategic enterprise objectives.

- Prioritise projects and activities and appropriately delegate and allocate work among staff members.

- Management of employee and industrial relations

Set Direction :

- Contribute to the strategic direction and formulation of corporate-wide HR policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives.

- Manage initiatives to drive operational excellence, including six sigma and other approaches across HR Services.

- Define and communicate internally-set quality standards; ensure that all aspects of HR Services work to achieve satisfactory quality and consistency.

- Ensure workforce optimisation through human performance improvement and organisational design.

- Work towards achieving accreditation for best company to work for in India

Leadership :

- Build and maintain a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building, and succession planning.

- Coordinate HR team for updates and upgrades to products and systems and, when necessary, issue resolution.

- Be actively involved in the design and update of the Company organisational structure to facilitate strategy execution.

- Drive change management

- Manage and co-ordinate career development, succession planning and talent management needs in partnership with line management
