Minimum Qualification :

Reference to the BCI Notification Dated January 2, 2017 a Principal of a CLE (i.e. Center of legal Education) must be a Professor appointed as such with such qualification and experience in the appropriate subject and placed in such appropriate scale of pay as prescribed by the University Grants Commission from time to time. College Principal and Professor (Professor's Grade)

A. Eligibility:

i. Ph.D. degree

ii. Professor/Associate Professor with a total service/ experience of at least fifteen years of teaching/research in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education.

iii. A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

iv. A minimum of 110 Research Score as per Appendix II,Table 2

B. Tenure

i. A College Principal shall be appointed for a period of five years, extendable for another term of five years on the basis of performance assessment by a Committee appointed by the University, constituted as per these regulations.

ii. After the completion of his/her term as Principal, the incumbent shall join back his/her parent organization with the designation as Professor and in the grade of the Professor.

Tentative Job Description :

A. Must be qualifying all norms as mentioned above.

B. Responsible to lead, motivate and build a team of young Professionals.

C. Should be able to ensure that best in class syllabus is designed and delivered to students.

D. Must contribute in institute industry connect to ensure that Institute Repute is maintained and constantly bettered in the fraternity and industry.

E. Should be able to build an environment of research and motivate faculties and students to publish good quality papers in journals of repute.

F. Responsible for admissions and filling of seats.

G. Responsible for maintaining financial soundness of the institute.

Age of this candidate could be 42 years onwards till 55 years.
