Description - Leadership position to lead the Healthcare Analytics practice of a large consulting client in Mumbai.
Client Details -
Our client is one of the largest US based analytics consulting firms providing solutions to clients across different industries including banking, healthcare, insurance, telecom, media, technology, and retail. They are looking for a Director for their Healthcare space.
Description :
As a Director, you will be reporting directly to the US partners and your main responsibilities will be to:
- Develop Analytics solutions for clients in pharma and healthcare space
- Oversee a large number of business development efforts and client engagements in the assigned sector specific Analytics practice
- Coordinating with the Partner and other key members of the Healthcare Analytics leadership team to define and manage practice priorities; with the US/global teams
- Interface with key stakeholders in the assigned sector specific Industry vertical to address industry problems and generate demand for the Data & Analytics practice
- Guiding and overseeing the building of a Healthcare Analytics Knowledge Repository
- Engage in demand and resource planning for the practice, and contributing to the recruitment strategy
- Provide inputs to and provide SME/analytics support to teams
- Define/develop applications/intellectual property that would be useful for analytics engagements in the assigned sector specific sector
- Bring strong assigned sector specific analytics leadership skills
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Analytics leadership team to oversee firm development and management activities
Profile
As a successful candidate, you should have :
- 12+ years of experience in the areas of Healthcare and Data Analytics (which should include at least 5 years of Healthcare Analytics), encompassing some of the following:
- Experience in healthcare analytics and/or healthcare operations, In particular, experience in multiple areas related to healthcare analytics:
- Pharmaceutical industry: Experience in commercial operations like sales territory alignment, sales force compensation strategy, multi-channel strategy
- Pharmaceutical industry: Experience in R&D operations like clinical site selection, clinical sites monitoring
- Health Insurance (Payer): Experience in working on healthcare claims data for various analysis related to (but not limited to) care management, utilization management, fraud, abuse and wastage analysis, population health management
- Health Insurance (payer): Experience in working on marketing initiatives for health care insurance companies
- Healthcare providers: Experience in working with provider claims data
1 Experience of having excelled in consulting/analytics environment
2 Experience in population health management, hospital operations and cost quality measures
3 Excellent organizational, leadership, decision making, team management and communications skills.
4 Knowledge of advanced analytics/statistical/data mining techniques such as Regression (Linear, Logistic), Cluster Analysis, CART/CHAID
5 Experience in Data Analytics tools such as SAS, R/Revolution R, and SPSS
6 Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos, and Business Objects would be a plus.
7 Demonstrated contributions in firm and knowledge building activities such as recruitment, staffing, marketing and branding
8 Actively involved in mentoring and training junior team-members
9 Capability to build/create a culture of quality, delivery, ownership, and high performance
10 Deep commitment to a positive, highly functional and productive work environment
