It is for a fast-growing metal &amp; mining major and is currently going through its strategic consolidation &amp; organic revitalization along with aggressive acquisitions and new projects. Senior Role will be based at Eastern Europe or the Middle East for heading the procurement for Eastern Europe Manufacturing Operations. In a nutshell, Key Result Areas would be : - To reduce the cost at lower contractual obligations with Working Capital deployment - To improve operational efficiencies &amp; improving service levels and reducing inventory levels and operating costs. - To guide, monitor the team of Procurement Managers and to manage them to achieve overall procurement goals of the team - Project Procurement, Strategic Buying &amp; Contract Administration - Forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, and systemization through the analysis. - Standardization &amp; Indigenization of all the spare - Project Management &amp; Co-ordination - Preferably a Graduate Engineer + MBA - At least 15 years of experience out of which major part should be in procurement in the Steel / Metal industry. Experience in handling a senior management role of directing and managing a large multilocational manufacturing operations is must.
