Job Summary: Director/Head - IT for a medium size fast-growing Fintech (Finance Technology) company @ Gurgaon

Position/ Title: Director/Head - IT

Reporting to: CIO

Experience: 4-8 Years

Location: Gurugram/ Gurgaon

Salary: 15-25 LPA + ESOPS

Client/Organization: Our client, a known medium size Finance, Loan service organization based in Gurgaon (NCR).

Job Description

This role will be accountable for:

1. Planning and execution of all business-critical technology processes including design, development, enterprise & network architecture, security and disaster recovery etc.

3. Aligning with business team to standardize and automate the current and new business requirements and processes

4. Prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives at a fast pace and as per changing business environment

5. To develop and implement required organizational policies and standards from internal and external audit perspective

6. Evaluate, mentor and manage team members. Work with them for their training needs and career development.

Skills required

Technical

1. Thorough Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JQuery, Javascript, HTML and CSS, Android / iOS app development and Python. Hands on experience/exposure on these are MANDATORY.

2. Proven track record of working on high traffic websites with focus on SEO and SEM.

3. Good understanding of backend developments and algorithms

4. Strong hold in Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns

5. Proven ability to build a solid team and thrive in dynamic environment

6. Experience with tools like selenium, Jmeter and bit bucket

7. Excellent project management skills to plan and monitor progress

8. Experience in building large scale system designs

Other skills

1. Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience (start-up experience would be a plus)

2. Ability to build relationships both within the organisations and outside vendors / partners.

3. Ability to focus on the big picture and at the same time also go deeper into details if required.

4. Ability to develop and mentor high performing teams across the organization and focuses on accountability while maintaining high quality results

5. Should be flexible and respond quickly as per business requirement and drives to others toward a common goal.

Desired Candidate Profile

Seeking a strong computer science graduate from tier 1 institute with prior hands on experience in BFSI sector.

Keyskills : Must have very good knowledge on below

HTML Javascript, CSS JQuery MySQL, PHP, Python, SEO, Search Engine Optimization.

Education- Below for good /reputed institutes with at least first class throughout

1. UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, Computers (From Tier 1 institutes only)

PG :M.Tech /MCA ( Information Technology, Systems /Computers)
