- This role will help drive development and execution our client's ambition to to turn data into a strategic asset across the organisation. This will facilitate using data to digitise the procurement value chain in finding right suppliers, right contracting strategy, and right commercial potential.
- This in turn will optimise the omni channel stakeholder experience and engagement. The role will be based out of Hyderabad.

Description
The Director - Head of Data Management based out of Hyderabad would be expected to:
- Exercise clear and informed decision making for data related investment and creation of data assets for all units and functions
- Serves as escalation point for data related product
- Service owner and working groups across master data management, data engineering with governance, and information modelling
- Build awareness and value of Data Management capabilities across Procurement function
- drive organic adoption of the capabilities
- Drive continuous feedback from Procurement function
- Develop data strategy for the Procurement function and ensure its understanding within the function
- Ensure team's Data Management skillsets are at par with industry
- Ensure data architecture is aligned with data strategy
- Ensure data quality as well as its integrity
- Enable simple and effective data governance structure
- Drive strategy and implementation to enable analytics
Profile
An ideal candidate for Director - Head of Data Management role based out of Hyderabad will: have
- 8-10 years of experience in Data Management and Data Strategy
- General understanding of data management activities
- Hands on experience with managing Data Science Enablement
- Led use case based agile implementation of data strategy across functions in MNCs
- Advance knowledge of visualisation tools and techniques
- Expertise in descriptive, predictive, and inquisitive analytics
- Working knowledge of cognitive analytics and robotics automation
- Understanding of data science workflow and productivity issues related to data
- Ability to code in R and/or Python
- Data distribution capabilities through API
- Worked on semantically curated Data APIs to enable complex data API Mashups
