Director - Application Infrastructure- India Engineering Head Who we are looking for Application Infrastructure is responsible for providing technology solution to application owners. This includes technologies for Compute (e.g., virtualisation, grid), Database (Oracle, MS-SQL), SAP, as well as Unix and Wintel. We are looking for technology leader with strong experience in these technologies, preferable Database to manage the India based engineering and operation teams in these areas, develop and extent the team's capabilities, work with the global team and act as a representative in general for application infrastructure in India. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting overall for the delivery in close collaboration global team in Europe, US and APAC to ensure a reliable and efficient engineering service. This includes introducing industry standard solutions to the Bank's platforms, meeting the business and regulatory requirements. As an Engineering team lead, your responsibilities will include - Management of day-to-day activities of the Engineering team in India - Management of the Application Infrastructure related engineering topics - Engineering point of contact and escalation with India CIO business community and Operations functions - Directing the Development, Testing and Certification Book of work for in alignment with Central Engineering team in Europe - CI/CD integration into the Engineering workflow for On-premise and Cloud solution - Continuous Service Improvement programs to maintain Engineered products to Industry and bank Security/Operational standards - Driving the cloud journey with the India team in collaboration with the global functions - Collaboration with Application teams, Technology vendors, Engineering peers, Security and other infrastructure operational functions What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role - 10+ years of leadership experience in managing function in a heterogeneous environment - 8+ years of production support in database environment or application development experience in technology areas - 5+ years Demonstrable experience in Development tools GitHub, Jenkins Pipeline, Ansible, Python - Experience working with Agile framework - Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic & analytical skills. - Excellent communication & coordination skills - Strong initiative and sense of ownership.
