Director - Grail Insights (10-15 yrs)

- Grail is poised for an explosive growth phase hence, we are significantly ramping-up operations in all our business verticals. We are looking for a seasoned professional with expansive Strategy Research and Insights experience in CPG & Retail sectors and someone who comes with a Consulting mindset. The candidate will play an instrumental role in servicing the surge in demand without losing time and quality.

- The designation will be Director and the reporting will be to the Global Delivery Head. Directors are a part of the Leadership team at Grail, and are expected to own client relationships, subject matter expertise and quality execution on multiple engagements

- Directors own account management and independently lead business development efforts with current and prospective clients

- They possess distinctive knowledge and can use it to serve high-performing industry leaders.

- They own and deliver strategic research and consulting engagements - they lead creation of analytical plans on an engagement, guide the team to conduct appropriate analysis, present findings to the clients

- They actively participate in designing and streamlining organizational processes and strategic decisions such as building Insights capabilities within the firm, and support growth and development of the team as well as new propositions.

Responsibilities :

Commercial / Account Management and Farming:


- End-to-end responsibility for delivery on key client accounts - front end role in scoping and delivery of key projects to clients

- Develop marketable solutions/capabilities

- Adhere to high quality standards across all proposals

- Identify sales trends and closely manage profitability on projects

- Should be available to travel to present project outcomes to clients, and to support business development

Engagement Delivery :

- Build analytical plans on accounts, and secure buy-in from client and internal stakeholders

- Lead / participate in telephonic or in-person hypothesis gathering sessions, and moderate client discussions

- Lead a team to conduct research as per standard industry protocols using multiple methodologies

- Guide multiple project teams to cull-out insights and recommendations for the client, and help present project outcomes in client conversations

- Demonstrate subject matter expertise and gravitas in business areas (such as CPG and Retail) to help add validity and relevance to findings from an engagement

- Ensure high levels of productivity and quality in the managed engagements

New Account Development :

- Work closely with the sales leadership to develop new client accounts and new areas of business

- Lead and support revenue growth by providing subject matter expertise in the design and delivery phases of engagements

- Special Projects

- Manage any special projects/initiatives depending on the business need
