Director - Governmental Affairs - Logistics/Transportation Industry (10-15 yrs)
The role is with a global MNC in the logistics/transportation space and will be responsible for the following duties -
- Provide political and industry updates, analysis and advice; identify and monitor emerging trends in relevant domains in the country, assess implications and provide recommendations
- Plan, coordinate and facilitate interactions/meetings with government ministries, departments, organizations, state governments, regulatory bodies, customers, industry partners, industry groups/bodies, think-tanks, academia, civil society groups
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships/contact with relevant governmental, political and industrial stakeholders
- Support preparations for official meetings, events, and visits
- Draft talking points and speeches for senior executives; draft white papers on relevant topics, as appropriate
- Prepare written summaries of meetings/visits and assist with follow-up activities, as appropriate
- Contribute effectively to discharging procedural formalities to ensure compliance with documentary requirements
- Track market dynamics and convert them into input for the tactical and strategic counter to competition

Education - An advanced university degree is required, preferably in political science, international relations, social sciences, law, public administration or a related area.
Work Experience
A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in political and economic affairs, civil affairs, security affairs, diplomacy or related topics is required.
