Join us as an International Payroll Lead - This is an opportunity for a driven leader and technical Payroll specialist to take on an exciting new career challenge - You'll be able to build and maintain a wide network of stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority - It's a chance to have a tangible effect on our HR function, put your existing skills to the test and advance your career What you'll do : - You'll lead the safe, efficient and future focused delivery of International pay and benefit services for the organisation ensuring all payrolls are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. This includes the day to day management of all global third party payroll vendor relationships, benefits administration and leadership of a team of Payroll specialists. - You'll be responsible for transforming how we pay colleagues, working in partnership with centres of excellence to make sure that service proposition is aligned to colleague needs, utilises technology effectively, and identifying opportunities for enhanced colleague experience and reduction of cost base. You'll also: - Be responsible for the accurate delivery of pay for around 20,000 colleagues across India and Western Europe - Lead the payroll team to deliver fit for purpose, compliant, and efficient solutions across a portfolio of products in line with agreed service proposition and applicable laws and regulations - Effectively manage all third party vendor relationships for Pay and Benefits across stated jurisdictions - Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to define, influence, shape and support the successful delivery of services now and in the future, with a focus on operating efficiency and transformation - Develop and maintain strong relationships with Controls & Assurance, 2LOD and 3LOD to ensure proactive management of risks across all Payroll activity globally - Be responsible for leadership of a safe and effective team of Payroll specialists - Create a culture of continuous improvement, increasing efficiency through leveraging technology systems and platforms and developing a team of highly skilled Payroll specialists The skills you'll need : You should have a robust understanding of current HR and payroll legislation across stated jurisdictions, best practices, and Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance, with strong leadership skills and experience of leading specialist teams across jurisdictions and delivering through others in a dynamic environment. You'll also need: - Experience of leading payroll function across multiple countries - Strong relationship management skills to influence and effectively manage third party Payroll vendor relationships and manage business relationships at all levels - Experience of running a safe and efficient global payroll which utilises technology to enhance colleague experience, financial management and drive operating efficiency - Experience of working in partnership with 2LOD and 3LOD on complex audit activity - Experience of proactive management of risk and experience of leading safe and efficient teams
