Director - Global Market Operations - Investment Banking (15-18 yrs)

Our client is a global financial institution with a sizeable Investment Banking Operations division in India, supporting their global footprint. To help facilitate their continued expansion a challenging new opportunity has been created at the Director level to partner with global functional leads, the site lead and the global COO to help define and structure functional strategies in the operations group. Our client is looking at hiring an experienced female candidate only for this role.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Implementing target operating models and service model structures across Group operations

- Supporting the site lead for operations and driving various workforce initiatives

- Working with the Global COO to ensure the region is aligned to the global strategy

- Working with external service providers and identifying opportunities for functions to move internally

- Working with BCM to ensure an effective BCP strategy is in place for the region

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- At least 15+ years of relevant experience within financial services and operations

- The ability to build effective working relationships with senior management globally

- Experience in influencing the culture and environment of a large workforce

- An understanding of governance, risk and controls within a complex global entity structure

- A track record of identifying and driving efficiencies in an organization or large business line

- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior management and peers
