Director - Global Corporate Communications (8-11 yrs)

Key Responsibilities - 

- Working with the Global Head of Communications on high priority campaigns outlined by the Founder and Group CEO

- Managing all external communications for the Founder and Group CEO, the Group COO and the Group CSO

- Working on high priority strategic announcements and related projects, like M&As, funding, etc., that have an impact on the brand's positioning globally

- Managing the communications campaign for in international markets in coordination with the country teams, with the focus on messaging alignment and maintenance of a constant drumbeat of stories through the year

- Ensuring a steady pipeline of company news and participation at industry forums, awards, and recognition, speaking engagements, etc. internationally

- Driving and executing events for press, media, and analysts (working investor relations and strategy team)

- Managing issues and crisis situation, if and when required

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism or another relevant field

- Minimum 10 years of PR experience including media relations and corporate communications; agency background with experience working in international markets and/or consumer-facing brands preferred

- Deep understanding of the media landscape (across TV, print, Radio, Digital) in Indian Sub-continent and internationally. Proven communications and digital/social media expertise is desirable. Excellent media contacts with the corporate/ startup/ consumer/ media & influencer universe are important; conversant with the consumer PR eco-system

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

- Strong experience managing complex communications processes across a matrixed multinational organization

- Experience of handling issues and crisis

- Experience of working with and counseling senior management in a dynamic environment are essentials

- A high degree of personal initiative, innovative thinking, influencing & collaboration skills is essential.

- Excellent strategic communication, storytelling and planning skills

- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows and ensure that deliverables are understood and achieved

- Ability to lead teams, influences and collaborate effectively with local and global teams located around the world

- Proactive, able to work with minimal supervision and willing to be hands-on

- Comfortable with work-related travel
