QUALIFICATION AND EXPECTED SKILLS :
- Post graduate with Social Sciences / Education / Public Health / Urban planning / Management with 10 + years of experience in social development sector.
- At least 5 years of work should be in organizing and directing major fundraising programs
- Well versed with new age fundraising techniques especially using digital media
- Demonstrated experience of working at a National level
- Demonstrated experience at networking, retaining partnerships as well as creating new relationships so as to expand the existing network. Enjoy building positive relationships with a wide range of individuals
- Ability to represent us in professional forums
- This position requires travel to other states extensively to bring synergy among various stakeholders
- Strong communications skills including presentation, proposal and report writing for the specific purpose of fund raising. Adroit in written and verbal communication skills in English

- Strong organizational skills: set priorities, develop a strategic business plan, monitor progress towards goals
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Secure adequate funding for the operation and expansion of the PROGRAM
2. Building a sound base of new donors/partners
3. Strengthening the relations with existing donors/partners and provide adequate reporting to them.
4. Develop communication materials for resource mobilization (newsletters, annual report, brochures, presentations, etc.)
5. Ensure regular intra-office communication on developments of the resource mobilization of the organization
6. Development and maintenance of the website and social media
7. Create, plan and implement all fundraising strategies and activities, building from and expanding upon the success of current private and public efforts
8. Manage, write, produce, proposals and reports, to regional private individuals and private sector philanthropic, corporate foundations etc
9. Lead the RMU team in the areas of resource mobilization and communication - planning and implementing both internal and external communication projects (including publications, events, mass mailings and website
10. Foster and cultivate relationships with the private sector, philanthropic funding community and high-level donors, through participation in relevant industry events, as well as organizational engagement and outreach;
11. Provide resource development intelligence/ research on upcoming opportunities and develop recommendations for decisions on next steps;
12. Provide support for strategic growth of organization, develops annual plan, work with project teams, with clear performance indicators.
13. Perform other job-related responsibilities, as assigned.
