Director FP&A About The Job: - The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for the overall planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of the Company's financial performance. This involves developing and managing financial analysis procedures, as well as identifying and prioritizing recommended actions. - In addition, the role conducts financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations. The Director of FP&A will prepare and maintain metric-driven financial models used to forecast and evaluate Company profitability and perform additional analysis as requested. Job Title: Director FP&A Location: Bangalore Roles & Responsibilities: - Interact proactively and collaboratively with executive leadership teams on a regular basis - Manage the implementation of a budgeting and forecasting solution to streamline the processes and provide enhanced reporting functionality - Build strong financial models for the business, utilizing an understanding of financial reporting and cash flow information - Coordinate, prepare, and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual rolling forecasts and prepare reporting on actuals vs. budgeted results, including additional ad-hoc analysis on results - Ensure the AR and the AP function is working efficiently - Responsible for timely processing of invoices including invoice approvals and tracking of open invoices - Reconciling payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions - Performs and oversees accurate, correct, and timely payroll reconciliations and audits, and troubleshoots any issues that arise Education & Experience Requirements: - Charter Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience - Prior experience managing the FP&A function - Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills - Strong financial modeling skills, along with an understanding of financial reporting and cash flow information - Must be detail-oriented and able to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks while meeting deadlines - Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives - Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and outside parties to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
