Director - Finance - South Asia Region - CA (12-15 yrs)

Position: Director Finance South Asia

Reporting Manager: Global CFO and Regional CFO

Location: Delhi

Direct reports: 15 people direct with a team of 40-50 total across the Region

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage all accounting operations.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements/reports

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Treasury management :

- Lead the FP&A activities for the country. Work with businesses to support them with MIS that would enable cost optimization, forecasting, variance analysis, profitability and other business decisions

- Manage internal and external audits

- Work towards resolving historical issues, compliance issues, control deficiencies identified in internal and external audits, etc.

- Manage debt collections with the objective to minimizing DSOs and working capital

- Supervise Treasury function- banking relationships, investments, guarantees, online transactions, etc.

- Drive automation of processes

- Support M&A teams during acquisitions and lead post migration financial integration

- Lead people management activities- appraisals, training, mentoring, etc.

- Manage BPO relationship (Accenture)

Experience and Requirements:

- B.Com (Hons), Chartered Accountant

- 12 - 15 years post qualification Industry experience

- Strong business alignment, should be able to preempt, understand and respond to business needs effectively

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
