Director - Finance & Operations - CA

Overall Accounting and Finance:

- Lead the accounting and finance function while setting up global accounting policies and practices

- Set-up accounting principles and accounting books for US company and manage multiple entities accounting and consolidation

- Undertake financial administration and internal audits

- Review books periodically and prepare weekly reports on cashflow and P&L

- Keep working capital requirements in check while managing treasury and other related activities

- Generate various internal/external reports & analysis to assist in decision making

- Ensure that the company complies with all legal, statutory & regulatory requirements including TDS, GST and VAT ( for US entity)

- Review the work of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Payroll and ensure proper internal controls with respect to Shared Services

- Manage all statutory, external audits and set-up a function of periodic internal audits

- Manage transfer pricing and inter-company transactions and accounting

- Optimising net burn , EBIDTA and cash burn on a detailed level

Revenue and Accounts Receivable:

- Oversee the accounts receivable and invoicing function

- Optimise AR days and ensure the minimal gap between delivery and invoicing

- Streamline internal processes with multiple business teams for timely invoicing and building forecasts around the same

- Identifying problems and reasons in the invoicing process across accounts and driving them to closures

- Weekly/Monthly reconciliation between revenue and invoicing and map deliveries for retainers and usage

You should apply if:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 8+ years of experience

- Experience of 5+ years in accounting, taxation, and reporting

- Handle teams and manage cash flow and working capital

- Experience in Zoho or any other accounting ERP

- Experience in excel, word and MS

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must

- Startup experience in venture-backed startups is a big plus (Series A to Series D)
