Director - Finance Job Description : Director Finance Responsibilities : - Work closely with founders on various aspects related to business, operations, financials, and fundraising - Financial reporting : Provide weekly/monthly financial and management information reports, including budget vs actual. Responsible for accounting and financial systems, 100% statutory compliances, and accurate bookkeeping. Monitor the preparation and maintenance of ledgers - Taxation and audits : Monitor compliance with statutory authorities for taxation. Liaise with external, internal, and statutory auditors to ensure timely and smooth closure of financials - ERP implementation : Initiate and oversee the complete ERP implementation with SAP/Navision/Oracle, etc based on the right solution for company level requirements - Treasury management : Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions and return from the investment of idle funds - A primary point of contact for banking relationships : Strike alliances with leading banking and financial institutions for Nodal account operations, marketplace operations, etc - Manage due-diligence, and funding related documentation for large fundraising events - Prepare exhaustive MIS reports to be shared with the board.
