Director - Finance - Infrastructure/Energy

JOB PURPOSE :

- Full responsibility for the overall financial management of the business in India including accounting, (in)direct taxes, treasury, statutory reporting, forecasting and budgeting, working capital, investment decisions and reporting to Head Office

- Ensure full and transparent financial integrity and compliance to all relevant policies and statutory requirements

- Be a valued business partner to the Managing Director and the business team by setting up the appropriate operating review rhythm and provide financial analyses that allow for pro-active actions by the business

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Ensure full balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis in line with Corporate policy including aging detail such as on Accounts Receivable and Work in Process

- Ensure excellent accounting routines and controls to ensure full financial integrity

- Ensure appropriate financial rigor and review with Operations to ensure revenue and cost recognition on a project basis is compliant to general accounting principles

- Set up and own the Operating review rhythm including appropriate KPI's to ensure the business is focused on key execution topics

- Ensure pro-active financial analyses and reporting to ensure the business can mitigate the risks or capitalize opportunities

- Work closely with Operations to ensure all valuations are fully substantiated and promptly agreed with the client

- Manage and work closely with Operations to ensure all Work in Process is billed within the contractual terms and Accounts Receivable is collected on time. Analysing aging and work pro-actively with Operations are key levers in driving Working Capital performance

- Work with Operations in reviewing commercial contracts

- To maintain and develop accurate and timely financial reports to support corporate and local management. Whilst optimising forecast integrity by developing reliable internal procedures

- To develop, manage and control the budgeting and forecasting process to deliver accuracy, timeliness with an in-depth understanding of variances and performance

- Ensure systems are up-to-date and identify system requirements going forward and own the implementation

- To deliver compliance with BrandSafway policies across all finance processes from structured, consistent and compliant system implementation

- To act as key liaison with internal / external auditors for any audit or compliance review

- To develop a well-motivated, flexible team of support staff of 8 team members, ensuring future succession potential.

- Support business- investments requests with relevant return on investment calculations
