MBA - Desirable - 10+ years of experience in progressively responsible finance/accounting roles - ideally in software or technology companies - 5+ years of experience in leadership/management positions for a company with at least 200 employees REPORTING INTO : Vice President &amp; Corporate Controller Job Overview : The Director of Finance is responsible for managing the financial operations with more than 350 employees in Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad. Job duties include accounting, financial reporting, compliance, regulatory affairs, financial systems, statutory audits, budgeting, and strategic planning. The Director of Finance maintains accounting ledgers for U.S. GAAP reporting, as well as for statutory reporting purposes in India. Additionally, the Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing a team that provides accounts receivable and accounts payable support services to entities in the U.S. and U.K. This position reports directly to the Vice President &amp; Corporate Controller and indirectly to the Managing Director Essential Duties and Responsibilities : 1. Lead the Finance function for a subsidiary of a U.S. publicly traded technology company with 350+ employees and multiple office locations 2. General Accounting/AR&amp;AP, Audit, Banking and treasury 3. Financial planning, analysis, Reporting 4. Serve as a key member of the leadership team 5. Oversee a team responsible for providing accounts receivable and accounts payable services for affiliated entities in the U.S. and U.K. 6. Deliver accurate financial results within four days after month-end for both U.S. GAAP and local statutory reporting purposes 7. Complete the annual statutory audit before the mandated deadline 8. Manage audit, banking and other relationships with external service providers. - Implement and maintain effective financial policies, internal controls, and insurance programs 9. Prepare budgets, cash forecasts, and other financial reporting to facilitate decision-making 10. Ensure that all compliance obligations are met, including : FEMA; GST; Provident Fund; RBI; ROC; STPI; and TDS 11. Provide reporting and other support to the local leadership team 12.
