Director - Finance - Consumer Products - CA

Our client is a leading a leading player in Consumer Products Industry with a instant brand recall and a global foot print supported by state of the art manufacturing facilities, top notch sales team, distribution network and world class R&D to keep them ahead of their competitors. They have ambitious plans and are currently looking for senior Finance professional to join them as Director Finance.

Reporting to the CEO & the Board, the individual will be responsible for the smooth operation of the finance function of the entity from India. Ensure the integrity of financial reports in compliance with IAS/ US GAAP and prepare management reports for the purpose of analyzing business performance. He/she will also make recommendations to the management on the effectiveness of current internal control processes and the and reporting back to management on the state of the company's finances, cash flow, producing accounts, setting and checking targets, monitoring the performance of each department, auditing and overseeing all tax and regulatory/compliance issues.

KRAs would include :

- Financial strategy, planning, monitoring, management handling investor relations and the share holders

- Budgeting, controlling, accounting, taxation, dividends, cost management, investor relations and annual report.

- Overall responsibilities for cash flow management, banking, insurance, contracts and agreements, assistance in corporate level negotiations and dealings with major supplier/customer/partners/regulatory bodies, and approvals and accreditations.

- Working with the Board and stake holders, Contributing to strategic business planning and development as a member of the senior management team including M&A, contract negotiations and compliance.

- Ensuring timely filing of returns such as TDS, GST etc per the relevant acts & interfacing with Tax Auditors and regulatory authorities for assessments and remittances.

- 'Liaising with the regional finance teams and external advisors, preparing funds flow and cash flow statements to monitor the inflow & outflow of funds and ensure optimum utilization of available funds towards the accomplishment of corporate goals.

Key Requirements :

- Qualified Charted Accountant

- 15+ years of experience with a proven track record of success in the above motioned areas.

- Leadership skills with strategic business vision; personality, track-record and credibility to win the confidence and support of the top management.

- As company is predominantly into manufacturing, the position demands experience in handling finance in manufacturing sector, and prior experience in Global Organizations with multiple business lines and locations.

- Exposure to working with US or European MNCs preferred.
