Director - Finance - CA - IT

Position: Director-Finance (Leading MNC IT Company)

Role:

- Produces, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control

- Gathers, analyses, prepares and summarizes recommendations for acquisition activities, financial plans, operating forecasts and trended future requirements

- Performs economic research and studies in the areas of depreciation, investment opportunities and performance, rates of return, working capital requirements and impact of governmental requirements

- Monitors and develops monthly reports of expenditures and revenues for projects

- Provides liabilities, record of assets and other financial transactions

- Responsible for Tax related compliances

- Develop, implement and/or maintain one or more accounting systems to include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Revenue Reconciliation, etc.

- Reviews and interprets financial reporting rules, requirements and regulations

- Prepares balance sheet, cash flow, income and profit and loss statements for the India entity

- Leading multiple teams

- Assist in the setup of procedures and processes that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy

- Management/ Stakeholder reporting

Requirements:

- CA

- 15-25 yrs of experience in Finance, including Financial Control, Management Reporting and Financial Reporting in an MNC IT Captive or an Indian IT MNC or a Financial Services Company

- Strong leadership and management capabilities

- Good knowledge of GAAP and other accounting regulations

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Strong process improvement discipline

- Negotiation and influencing skills

- Good Knowledgeable of SAP

- Excellent project management tools/MS Projects, presentation skills Deep understanding of MSEXCEL

- Travel involved within and outside India 30:70
