Director - Finance & Administration - NGO (8-15 yrs)

- The Director Finance and Administration will head the Finance Department of the Country Program playing an advisory role to the senior management, supportive supervisory role to finance team, and provide periodic support to outreach and other country programs in the Asia region.

- The Finance Director plays a pivotal role in overall financial management with strict adherence to the organisation policies/systems in line with the requirements of HQ and local government rules and tax regulations.

Job Responsibility :

- Strategic Support Planning and executing financial strategies and policies for the organization

Financial Management & Accounting : Ensuing compliance with all accounting principles and policies with respect to finalization of accounts; provide support for conduction of audit reviews by internal and external agencies

Funds Management : Estimating fund requirement of project and state operations; ensure their optimum utilization, control balance or shortage of funds, preparation and utilization of cash flow statements, utilization of optimal methods for speedy and accurate transmission of funds etc

Financial Control : Reviewing periodic budgetary controls and variance reports generated and also assist in compilation of budgets

Financial Reporting : Generate periodic reports for internal and external stake-holders, Management and other donors Manage audit reviews etc

Project Monitoring : Tracking projects in financial terms and analyzing them vis-a-vis budgets, forecasts and other parameters/ factors

- Oversee the financial aspects of sub awards including the selection process, the completion of sub award agreements, the training and mentoring of sub awardees on financial requirements and reporting (including budgets, payments, and compliance) and approve their financial reports.

- Works collaboratively with other team members and international colleagues on meeting the organizational goals.

- Supervise payroll calculations and related payments, tax and social contribution reports to local authorities and the preparation of any additional payroll related reports required by local labor laws.

- Supervise office vendor contracts.

- Develop and Implement systems and tools to improve financial management and monitoring in the country program that includes any financial management assessment at the State Office or Partner level Offices.

- Provide guidance and advice to the Country Representative on the overall use of country program resources, including recommendations to reduce costs, improve efficiency and enhance optimized country program activities.

- Strong communication skill both oral and written

Qualification/Experience :

The candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant or Fellow of Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant.

- Should have a minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in the similar roles/responsibilities which should specifically include some years of experience with NGO/INGO sector.

- Strong program management experience; budgeting, tracking and managing the finances of multiple development programs
