Director - Engineering - Startup

We are looking for a tech entrepreneur who has experience building & setting up of startups into technology space (IoT & Machine learning).

He would act as a Director for our R&D Division in India, Bengaluru. Where he will be part of an early start-up team, which is working on cutting edge technology such as large-scale cloud system, connected device and machine learning.

Responsibilities:

Head the R&D Division and Deliver anything/everything to build great products in Industrial Automation Domain.

Lead the architecture, design, development and production of our products and services

Coach and lead a team of engineers and grow the team for future growth

Coordinate and work closely with cross-border teams

Participate as a hands-on contributing software team member

Establish best engineering practices through compact design decisions, process, and tools

Measure and improve product quality continuously work with hardware engineering at a technical level

Prepare budgets, resource estimates, and schedules for development for new software releases, features and products

Hire, inspire and lead the high-performing team.

You would fit if, you are:

Tech Entrepreneur with 10+ Years of experience in Building Scaling Products.

Successfully built start-ups or Product Teams from the scratch.

Must be PhD, MS, or Any equivalent Computer Science Graduation.

Must be hands on Developer/Architect/Technical Leader

Demonstrated ability to build and launch large-scale, distributed cloud backend products

Experience in building data analytics platform/solutions, machine learning, or advanced algorithms applications

Extensive development experience with at least one major cloud stack

Passion for building beautiful and easy to use the web and mobile applications

Ideally from Electronics Design, Mechanical Engineering Background.

2+ years work experience in the US at a product based company is a plus.

Past experience/interest in designing and developing hardware or connected devices

Mathematical inclination and familiarity with statistics
